連携大学院方式とは、研究機関の研究者を大学の教授・准教授として迎え、その機関の研究環境を活用しながら研究指導等を行う、大学院教育の方式です。構造エネルギー工学学位プログラムでは、日本原子力研究開発機構(JAEA)、土木研究所(PWRI)、産業技術総合研究所(AIST)、宇宙航空研究開発機構(JAXA)の研究者を迎えています。

In order to respond to the academic and social needs, this degree program adopts a cooperative graduate school system which provides research guidance to students of degree programs in an excellent environment, where the state-of-the-art research facilities of research institutions can be utilized with prominent researchers invited from numerous research institutions located in Tsukuba Science City as Professors and Associate Professors of the University of Tsukuba. Our Degree Program in Engineering Mechanics and Energy is invited researchers from Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA), Public Works Research Institute (PWRI), National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency(JAXA).
